About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our Marketing Department at Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Product PR master plan, working closely with PR & Events teams.
- Coordinate all EU Product PR projects, including collecting market PR Product plans.
- Create and oversee the production of Kia's Product media materials, such as press releases, vehicle specifications, and visual aids.
- Manage the photograph and video services for the press, using approved suppliers and internal guidelines.
- Support Product-related interviews at events and moderate them as needed.
- Provide media product workarounds for journalists and respond to product and technical questions in a timely manner.
- Cultivate relationships with Car of The Year jury members and build relationships with market PR, factory, and other stakeholders.
- Design press visit frameworks and manage requests from markets for media visits to the factory.
- Ensure timely communication of important topics, such as car preparation, handling, and embargoes.
- Manage crisis PR topics with a Product focus, working with GM and Senior Manager.
- Coordinate product reports, including recalls from a PR perspective, and deliver press statements accordingly.
- Work with Manager, Events to brief agencies as needed and with Specialist, Fleet Cars to ensure required cars are ordered and ready for tasks.
- Support Marketing Department with Product guideline and launch plan updates via the Strategic Marketing Team.
- Support presentations to the media, taking ownership of required materials and spokesperson media training.
- Support Senior Manager PR in maintaining the yearly PR Masterplan of all Product & PBV related projects.
- Coordinate Media Monitoring Services, using output to make evaluations and set KPIs for local Country PR outputs.
About You:
- Masters/Bachelors degree, ideally in PR/Communications.
- Valid and clean driver's license.
- Proven successful career (6 years+) in product PR.
- Experience within a PR agency on Product PR desired.
- Established relationships with automotive media.
- Experienced manager with leadership and budget skills.
- Fluent in English, additional EU languages a plus.
- Good computer skills (MS-Office), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to present automotive topics confidently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and capacity for leading teamwork, strong motivator, and values alignment.
- Self-confident, positive, flexible, and adaptable to a multicultural and quick-developing environment.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, problem-solving, and prioritizing.
- Willingness for frequent business trips.
