Job Title: Electrical Automation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team at Radio Frequency Systems. As an Electrical Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, as well as the programming and development of automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily maintenance of electrical systems to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Install and test electrical systems of equipment.
  • Responsible for maintenance of PLC and programming, including updates and strategy for further development.
  • Analyze and summarize the cause of equipment breakdowns and solve problems using PDCA.
  • Support supervisor in setting up and improving preventive maintenance systems to achieve industry-related KPI targets.
  • Carry out regular PM plans, TPM, and CM in the entire production line.
  • Responsible for downtime root cause analysis, finding breakthroughs, and fixing failures.
  • Lead and complete projects related to equipment improvement, setting new functions, program debugging, and backup.
  • Support spare parts purchasing and related technical issues solving.
  • Take key roles in coaching technicians for electrical skills and improving their troubleshooting skills, making training courseware and materials as an electrical expert.
  • Assume overall responsibility for electrical installations throughout the entire plant.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in automation or electrical control engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, especially in continuous automation lines.
  • Familiarity with Siemens PLC (Step 7 and TIA Portal, Profibus/Profinet).
  • Experience with Siemens S5 is desirable.
  • Hands-on Siemens PLC S7 300/400 programming and debugging.
  • Familiarity with current and frequency converters from various manufacturers.
  • Preferred in robot communications and programming.
  • Familiarity with energy supply systems up to 10kV (switching authorization for 10kV switchgear).
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations in the area of electrical engineering.
  • Able to communicate in English fluently.
  • Good team player, detail-oriented, patient, and able to work under pressure.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SAP.
