About the Role

Olympus is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our GI (gastrointestinal) diseases solutions team. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial roadmap for GI diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of globally located solutions managers to develop and execute a commercial roadmap for GI diseases
  • Chair the Solution Council, a cross-functional team that facilitates and coordinates the development of the Endoscopy Ecosystem
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on GI diseases, providing insights and guidance to the team
  • Develop robust business cases to support new solution initiatives, investments, and resource allocation
  • Drive the creation of detailed Market Requirements Documents that articulate customer needs and expectations
  • Implement claims matrices and evidence planning to substantiate product claims and support marketing strategies
  • Build and maintain effective customer relationships with healthcare professionals to promote market growth
  • Collaborate across business units, Sales Business Centers, and functions to deliver solutions that support revenue and profit objectives

Requirements

  • BA/BS with a preference for physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or business; MBA strongly preferred
  • At least ten years of successful healthcare product management experience
  • Extensive experience in commercializing new technologies and solutions
  • Demonstrated success delivering results in highly matrixed organizations
  • At least five years of experience working with global teams and markets
