Job Overview:
As a ServiceNow Technical Architect, you will take charge of the scoping, design, development, and implementation processes across various client projects, ensuring the delivery of top-tier ServiceNow solutions.
Your role will involve assessing new business needs and determining the appropriate technical solutions, adhering to industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with engagement leads, project managers, business analysts, developers, and testers to steer the design through to execution while maintaining risk management and quality assurance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the technical execution of projects utilizing the ServiceNow platform.
- Outline technical solutions at both architectural and design levels.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and development teams, both onshore and offshore.
- Present engaging solution demonstrations across the ServiceNow platform.
- Design and implement technical integrations between ServiceNow and client IT/business services.
- Support development teams in troubleshooting complex technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
- Commit to continuous learning about the ServiceNow platform through certifications, webinars, case studies, training, and community resources.
- Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with clients and team members to enhance DXC's reputation as a trusted advisor.
- Build effective working relationships with DXC's global network of ServiceNow professionals.
- Contribute to the evolution of DXC's ServiceNow product roadmap.
- Ensure compliance of the project delivery team with DXC's solution architecture standards and frameworks.
- Engage as a member of the broader DXC community, sharing knowledge across functions and expanding your personal network within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in consulting/professional services and technical delivery.
- Proven success in managing complex technology projects on the ServiceNow platform as a Solution Architect.
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
- Certified Implementation Specialist in at least two product suites.
- ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or v4).
- Strong proficiency in scripting on the ServiceNow platform using JavaScript, CSS, and Angular JS, including Flows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Widgets, and UI Pages.
- In-depth knowledge of key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions, such as Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, etc.
- Experience delivering solutions in complex client environments.
- Familiarity with common business analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with both agile and traditional software/project methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey information clearly and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Strong negotiation and team collaboration skills, adept at managing multiple stakeholders in high-pressure situations.
- Resilient and driven to overcome challenges to achieve team and project objectives.
- Passionate about personal development, actively seeking learning opportunities.
- Language proficiency: Fluent in both German and English, both written and verbal.
You should be prepared to work remotely and travel to client locations for meetings and workshops as required.
