The Role:
As a Principal Management Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our mission to drive data-centric business transformation with a select group of our strategic clients. You will hold complete accountability for the comprehensive value journey of these clients, collaborating closely with the Celonis Sales Teams and orchestrating our Value Engineering initiatives for these accounts. Your contributions will play a crucial role in shaping our business development and value proposition within the Food Retail sector, as you represent Celonis in various external engagements (events, keynote speeches, etc.) and network with C-Level executives.
You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, assisting them in achieving their strategic objectives and realizing substantial value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. In partnership with our collaborators and Celonis Services, you will drive measurable business outcomes across diverse processes and sectors, facilitating the adoption of our platform. Your role will combine extensive process and industry knowledge with a robust consulting skill set and strong analytical capabilities, placing you at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing technology firms worldwide.
The work you'll do:
Identify & Frame Value
Uncover and translate clients' strategic goals into impactful Celonis use cases. Develop demonstrations and business cases, utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices to attract new clients. Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and articulate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.Realize Value
Lead business value workshops and utilize Celonis to pinpoint and qualify opportunities for process enhancement. Identify improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives. Present outcomes and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.Scale Value
Oversee the entire customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adopting, and renewing. Create a strategic expansion roadmap for clients, embedding the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a key business transformation tool within their organization to drive adoption and growth. Provide insights to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and applications based on emerging use cases.The qualifications you need:
Strategic perspective and depth of expertise: 10+ years of relevant experience. Live for Customer Value: Experience in an analytical and strategic capacity aimed at demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process enhancement, and/or relevant software deployment. Ideally in a client-facing role with a Consultancy or a Business Software / SaaS Provider. Alternatively, in an In-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining / Analytics / Intelligence) within an Enterprise. Value Selling & Executive Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and presentation skills in German (fluent) and English. Proficient in preparing and conveying roadmaps and results to stakeholders. Strong sales acumen and a confident, winning demeanor. Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Solid understanding of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience with implementing RPA or BI Tools, or developing Dashboards or Apps / Action Flows. Familiarity with Python and/or SQL. Experience collaborating with IT teams. Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven experience in identifying use cases for business process enhancement and executing improvement measures, acting as a change agent and training users/process owners to realize value. Project Management: Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines. Business Domain Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the Finance and Supply Chain functions and/or strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation). Industry Expertise: In-depth understanding of industry trends, common challenges/success factors, and strategic opportunities in the Food Retail sector. Strong network of C-Level decision makers.
