Private Equity Investing at Goldman Sachs

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-rounded Associate to join our Private Equity Investing team in Munich. As part of our Asset Management Division, you will be working with a talented team of professionals across European and global offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities across various industries and geographies
  • Building relationships with management teams, senior advisors, and external industry experts
  • Performing due diligence, financing, structuring, and closing transactions
  • Developing and implementing value creation strategies at our existing portfolio companies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate, private equity, or alternative asset management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with a track record of excellence in career and academics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with German and English as required languages
  • Strong business and investment judgement, with an entrepreneurial mindset
