Department: Project Development

As a Project Manager (m/w/d) Onshore Wind - Planning and Permitting, you will drive the expansion of renewable energies in Germany forward with us. You will develop onshore wind energy projects in Germany until they are ready for construction. In collaboration with internal and external experts, you will plan wind farm concepts, write statements on relevant planning documents, and ensure the creation of all permit-relevant documents.

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the implementation of a sub-project (permitting under BImSchG) while taking into account legal, technical, and commercial framework conditions
  • Definition and agreement of work packages with internal and external project participants, as well as strict monitoring of the timely implementation
  • Analysis and evaluation of realization chances
  • Conducting negotiations with municipalities and, if necessary, landowners using existing contract templates
  • Collaboration with service providers and local development cooperation

Your profile:

  • Several years of reliable professional experience in developing wind energy projects in the German market
  • Very good knowledge of relevant legislation, in particular BImSchG, EEG, BauGB, ROG, BNatSchG, WindBG
  • Experience in dealing with municipalities, authorities, and landowners
  • Understanding of economic analyses for onshore wind projects
  • Independent, engaged, and goal- and team-oriented working style
  • Clear, transparent, and goal-oriented communication in project work
  • Fluent German and good English skills in writing and speaking
