Strategic Sourcing Manager for Logistics

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager for Logistics to join our Logistics Sourcing & Partners team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading international sourcing projects with a focus on logistics material handling equipment, forklifts, and intralogistics technology.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate and lead international sourcing projects, developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Act as the central commercial contact person for logistics conveying technology/forklifts, providing expert advice and guidance to international colleagues in logistics and stores.
  • Lead framework agreement negotiations with international suppliers and logistics partners, driving cost savings and process improvements.
  • Independently execute market analyses and tenders, ensuring the best possible outcomes for the business.
  • Continuously develop and improve existing standards and tools, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

We are looking for a high-energy individual with a passion for logistics and sourcing. You will have strong negotiation skills, a willingness to negotiate complex contract logistics and group framework agreements, and several years of professional experience in logistics, procurement of logistics services, or supply chain management.
