Job Description

As a Senior Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our suppliers and managing compliance with organizational requirements. Your mission will be to:

  • Monitor and develop suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Coordinate the quality performance of suppliers and adapt to internal and external changes that may affect their approval.
  • Act as a liaison between Volocopter GmbH and its supply chain.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting audits and assessments of suppliers to evaluate their quality performance.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Providing training and support to suppliers to improve their quality management capabilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager in a similar industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of EASA regulatory requirements and practices.
  • Experience with quality management standards such as AS/EN/JISQ 9100, EASA Part-21, Part-ORO, Part-M, Part-145, or equivalent.
  • Qualification and current experience as a first, second- or third-party auditor for management systems.
