Your Role:

As an IT Service Specialist, you will be integral to the seamless delivery of our IT services. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Technical Assistance: Offer prompt and effective technical support to users through various channels. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  2. Issue Resolution: Investigate and address IT-related problems, employing diagnostic tools to ensure swift resolutions.
  3. Client Interaction: Provide exemplary customer service by professionally handling user inquiries and concerns.
  4. System Maintenance: Conduct regular updates and maintenance on hardware and software to guarantee optimal functionality and security.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of support requests, solutions, and system configurations for future reference.
  6. User Education: Facilitate training sessions to empower users in utilizing technology effectively.
  7. Security Implementation: Assist in the enforcement of IT security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work alongside the IT team and other departments to enhance IT processes and systems.
  9. Remote Assistance: Provide remote support to clients as necessary.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Process-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills in both German and English.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices.
  • Knowledge of various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundations, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
