Your Role:
As an IT Service Specialist, you will be integral to the seamless delivery of our IT services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Assistance: Offer prompt and effective technical support to users through various channels. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and address IT-related problems, employing diagnostic tools to ensure swift resolutions.
- Client Interaction: Provide exemplary customer service by professionally handling user inquiries and concerns.
- System Maintenance: Conduct regular updates and maintenance on hardware and software to guarantee optimal functionality and security.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of support requests, solutions, and system configurations for future reference.
- User Education: Facilitate training sessions to empower users in utilizing technology effectively.
- Security Implementation: Assist in the enforcement of IT security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside the IT team and other departments to enhance IT processes and systems.
- Remote Assistance: Provide remote support to clients as necessary.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Process-oriented approach to work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in both German and English.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices.
- Knowledge of various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundations, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
