Silicon Carbide Diffusion Process Expert

About the Role
As a Silicon Carbide Diffusion Process Expert, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining the manufacturing processes for SiC power components. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving product quality, yield improvement, and overall process efficiency.
Your Responsibilities- Process Development: Lead the development of innovative SiC diffusion processes and execute project-related tasks to ensure successful implementation.
- Manufacturing Excellence: Spearhead the development of manufacturing processes for SiC power components, focusing on diffusion process modules. Proactively address quality issues and ensure a seamless production flow throughout ramp-up, pre-production, and production phases.
- Process Monitoring & Improvement: Continuously review and monitor engineering processes within your area of responsibility. Identify deviations promptly and initiate corrective actions to resolve issues. Analyze process data from engineering batches and address relevant technical challenges.
- Product Reliability Champion: Demonstrate a deep understanding of product reliability requirements and testing methodologies. Take ownership of the reliability evaluation for products within your process domain.
- Yield Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance product yield and tackle major challenges within your scope of responsibility, contributing to overall production efficiency.
- Academic Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in semiconductor physics, microelectronics, materials science, chemistry, or a related field within the semiconductor industry.
- Industry Experience: Bring over 10 years of experience in semiconductor diffusion process introduction or development. Proven experience in SiC product introduction or production within a fab environment is essential.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrate familiarity with SiC process flow, manufacturing processes, and characterization techniques. Prior experience in semiconductor material processing, particularly for power device development, is highly advantageous.
- Measurement Proficiency: Possess a strong understanding of measurement methods and techniques used to evaluate materials and process results.
- Mass Production Success: Have a successful track record in mass production within leading factories in the semiconductor industry.
- Collaborative Mindset: Exhibit a hands-on mentality and an open mindset for working in diverse, international teams.
- Communication Skills: Communicate effectively and present information clearly in English. Fluency in German and/or Chinese is a valuable asset.
