The BMW Group is seeking a highly skilled Master's thesis student to join our team and work on a cutting-edge project in Generative AI benchmarking. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing advanced algorithms and applications to evaluate the performance of systems based on Generative AI in the context of in-car human-machine interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced benchmarking algorithms for evaluating the performance of Generative AI systems.
  • Collaborate with our team of experienced AI developers to integrate your work into our existing projects.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in our current AI systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, computational linguistics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python 3, with substantial experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch, Sklearn, Docker, Spacy, and OpenCV.
  • Practical knowledge of deep-learning techniques and frameworks, with a focus on natural language processing and/or computer vision.
  • Business-fluent English, with German proficiency a plus.
