Wir suchen in der Abteilung für Neurologie (Lehrstuhl: Prof. Dr. Heinz Wiendl) einen Postdoktorand (gn) für die Einzelzellen- / räumliche Transkriptomik.

Ihre Aufgaben:
  • Lokale Implementierung und Anwendung der Einzelzellen- / räumlichen Transkriptomik
  • Organisation der Verarbeitung und Sequenzierung von Proben aus verschiedenen Quellen
Ihr Profil:
  • Doktortitel in Biologie oder einer verwandten wissenschaftlichen Disziplin
  • Gute Organisations- und Teamfähigkeit, selbstständiges Arbeiten
  • Erfahrungen mit Einzelzellen / Kernen oder räumlicher Transkriptomik sind sehr wünschenswert
  • Erfahrungen mit immunologischen Techniken im Nasslabor (z. B. Durchflusszytometrie) sind von Vorteil
  • Gute schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch erforderlich
  • Deutsche Sprachkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich
  • Da es sich um eine Stelle im Nasslabor handelt, werden rein (bio-)informatische Bewerbungen nicht berücksichtigt
  • Interesse, ein eigenes Forschungsprofil zu entwickeln, einschließlich der Fähigkeit, unabhängige Drittmittel einzuwerben

Die Abteilung verwendet verschiedene Modelle und verfügt über eine umfangreiche Biobank mit verschiedenen neuro-immunologischen Proben. Wir setzen alle zell- und molekularbiologischen Techniken ein und integrieren diese in die Einzelzellen- / räumliche Transkriptomik. Wir haben eine stabile Plattform für diese Techniken aufgebaut und stehen in regem Austausch mit renommierten Gruppen auf diesem Gebiet im In- und Ausland.
