About the Role
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Service department in strategic development projects and support market launches from a Service perspective.
- Identify technical problems on prototypes and pre-series turbines and work with interdisciplinary teams to resolve them.
- Prepare and document findings from market launches.
- Participate in regular expert groups and present work results.
- Develop solutions for series problems in collaboration with development engineering.
- Organize and implement technical workshops with local service organizations.
- Provide on- and offsite support to local service organizations during market launches.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Many years of professional experience in the wind energy industry, combined with extensive technical knowledge of wind turbines.
- Experience as a Master Technician, Supervisor, or Commissioner (mechanical or electrical).
- A meticulous and systematic approach to work, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language, with Spanish being an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to work at heights and a willingness to travel internationally.
