Market Development Leader

SciPro is seeking a driven and experienced Market Development Leader to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying new business opportunities and driving the success of our innovative products within the chemicals industry. Your technical expertise and customer-centric approach will be instrumental in shaping our market presence and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the identification and qualification of promising new business ventures, collaborating closely with sales and application development teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to application development during customer projects, contributing to the successful implementation of solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with European and Asian end customers and distributors through regular visits and engagement, ensuring a high level of visibility and market penetration.
- Actively participate in industry events such as trade fairs, conferences, and webinars to showcase our materials and technological advancements.
- Collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions to explore new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Effectively coordinate communication and activities between customers, sales, application development, and internal teams, ensuring clear reporting and information flow.
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Proven success in a market development role within the chemicals industry, with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a proactive and independent work style.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken. Additional language proficiency is highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of key industries such as household and industrial cleaning, plastics & polymers, paints & coatings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
