The Small Animal Clinic of the Animal Hospital Freie Universität Berlin is a leading institution in the field of small animal and pet medicine, serving the Berlin-Brandenburg region with its 6 million inhabitants. Our clinic offers comprehensive teaching and research activities, as well as 24-hour emergency services, 7 days a week. We are seeking a highly skilled veterinarian to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing veterinary care for outpatients, inpatients, and surgical patients in the field of anaesthesia and pain management
- Independent teaching in accordance with the German Teaching Obligations Ordinance (LVVO) in the field of small animal and pet anesthesia
- Professional involvement in the training of residents and veterinary specialists in various disciplines
- Research in the field of small animal anesthesia
Requirements:
- Specialist veterinarian of Anaesthesia and Analgesia or Diplomate of the European / American College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA/ACVAA)
- Doctorate in veterinary medicine
- Veterinary license to practice medicine
- At least three years of experience in veterinary anaesthesia
