Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified IT Specialist for Client Management Solutions to join our team at STEAG Power GmbH. This role is essential for enhancing our Windows client infrastructure and providing direct support to our clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs an IT Specialist in Client Management, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing service requests and incident reports, ensuring thorough documentation within our ticketing system.
- Operating and advancing our existing Windows client infrastructures utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Ensuring the reliable and high-availability operation of our production systems and infrastructure.
- Evaluating the implementation of new system architectures, products, and technologies.
- Planning and executing administrative tasks within Active Directory.
- Maintaining communication and coordination with clients, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Selecting appropriate client hardware and software components.
- Providing cross-team 2nd and 3rd level support for the IT systems under your responsibility.
- Conducting monitoring, reporting, and documentation activities.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
- Extensive experience in the administration of Windows servers.
- A completed IT training program with a focus on Microsoft client and server management or a similar qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Windows Patch Management (WSUS), and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages.
- A strong knowledge base in the administration and configuration of Microsoft-based client/server systems.
- Ability to work independently with an ITIL-oriented approach and strong organizational skills.
- A professional demeanor, reliability, and discretion.
- A high degree of teamwork, organizational ability, and creativity.
- Flexibility, initiative, and commitment.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
