Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team at SAP LeanIX. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality backend systems, including APIs, microservices, and data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UI/UX, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
- Lead architectural decisions and ensure the optimal performance of our services.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and growth within the team.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
- Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and high-quality backend systems.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, architecture, and testing.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as Azure, and containerization, such as Docker.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
