Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify key competitors in the building technologies and automation sector. Monitor competitor activities, product launches, and market positioning to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Benchmarking: Evaluate Bosch's products and solutions against industry standards to identify areas for improvement and innovation. Analyze competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and feature sets to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Market Trends and Insights: Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the building technologies and automation sector. Provide regular reports and updates to internal stakeholders on industry developments and potential opportunities or threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to develop strategies that meet market demands and competitor positioning.
- SWOT Analysis: Conduct SWOT analyses to identify Bosch's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats compared to industry standards.
Requirements
- Education: Master's degree in engineering, business administration with a technical focus, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience and Expertise: Proven experience in market analysis, benchmarking, or market research in the building technologies or automation sector. Strategic thinking and ability to translate market insights into actionable recommendations. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Personality and Work Style: Strong team and goal orientation. Convincing communication skills in interdisciplinarity and diverse teams. Excellent presentation skills to convey results and findings clearly and convincingly. Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking combined with an agile approach.
- Languages: Excellent German and English language skills in writing and speaking to communicate and present effectively in both languages.
