About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to join our team at ND SatCom. As a Technical Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality operator documentation for our satellite ground stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop operator documentation for satellite ground stations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Convert technical input from the engineering department into documentation format specified by customers.
- Organize and conduct test runs to ensure documentation meets customer requirements.
- Edit system descriptions, functionality, and operation sections to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Manage and collaborate with external service providers and customers to transfer editorial content.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as S1000D V2.3.
Requirements:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent experience in ILS (Integrated Logistic Support) / technical documentation.
- Experience as a technical editor in operator documentation for military end customers.
- Knowledge and experience in ILS-processes, including LSA.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Very good knowledge of German and English.
