Your Role at ZEISS Digital Innovation

We develop innovative, market-defining solutions for our clients in the healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Our team combines industry expertise with a deep understanding of technological advancements, ensuring speed and creativity in the development of cutting-edge ideas.

As a Solutions Specialist for Healthcare Software Development, you will advise our clients in the medical technology, pharmaceutical, and life science sectors on the initiation and implementation of software development projects. Your tasks will include:

  • Contributing to client presentations, project concepts, and offers
  • Conducting client workshops and solution presentations
  • Advising clients on defining and designing successful products for their industry
  • Closing collaboration and relationship building with decision-makers at client organizations
  • Identifying needs, challenges, and solution options in the client's organization
  • Closing collaboration with Sales to identify, attract, and win new clients
  • Setting up new software development projects and leading project teams in the early phase of projects
  • Creating publications and presentations for industry-specific media and events

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in software development, consulting, or technical sales. You will need to have:

  • Multiple years of professional experience in software development, consulting, or technical sales
  • Experience in the medical technology, pharmaceutical, or life science industry
  • Experience in consulting, preferably in the healthcare sector
  • Extensive experience in conception, development, and quality assurance of software solutions in various technology fields
  • Experience in dealing with common technologies and standards in the medical technology, pharmaceutical, or life science industry
  • Experience in implementing software development projects using agile methods and setting up technical project infrastructure
  • Knowledge of typical requirements for cybersecurity in healthcare and suitable solution options
  • Experience in stakeholder management and coaching expertise
  • Experience in managing software development teams
  • Willingness to travel
  • Full business proficiency in both German and English
  • Affinity to sales and business development
  • Strong customer and result orientation
  • Professional appearance and excellent communication and presentation skills
