Job Title: Senior Manager Model and Data Automation Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Model and Data Automation Expert to join our team at actcon GmbH. As a key member of our Digital Farming team, you will be responsible for developing and operating digital solutions in the field of data acquisition and processing of drones and agricultural machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into IT requirements and implement technical solutions with a focus on model development and content testing.
  • Conceive, design, develop, test, operate, and refine the Digital Farming-IT solution architecture in model and data automation.
  • Drive the development of AI and GenAI in our area with use cases in Ag including Computer Vision.
  • Support the global Digital Farming strategy regarding the technical exchange infrastructure with external partners.
  • Lead a team of 15 internal IT and engineering experts.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, natural sciences, engineering, or related fields.
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally as a team leader of a cross-functional team.
  • Expert knowledge in implementing business requirements for data-driven, customer-oriented IT solutions at a global company level.
  • Expertise in scalable microservices-based, web, and mobile IT architectures, as well as data pipelines and modern AI frameworks.
  • Initial work experience and insights into concepts of generative AI would be an advantage.
  • Very good communication skills in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
