Das Fraunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik ILT ist ein führendes Zentrum für Forschung und Entwicklung im Bereich Lasertechnik und Laserverfahren. Unsere Abteilung 'Data Science und Messtechnik' konzentriert sich auf die umfassende Modellierung der Laser-Material Wechselwirkung in der Lasermaterialbearbeitung.

**Unsere Herausforderung**

Wir suchen einen erfahrenen Forschenden, der sich auf die Modellierung und Simulation von Prozessen in der Lasermaterialbearbeitung spezialisiert hat. Der Kandidat wird in enger Zusammenarbeit mit unserem 'Business Development'-Team Forschungsmärkte analysieren und Strategien entwickeln, um diese zu erschließen.

**Deine Aufgaben**

• Du bearbeitest öffentlich geförderte Projekte mit Industriebeteiligung im Themenfeld der Modellierung von Laser-Material Wechselwirkung

• Du unterstützt bei der Akquise öffentlich geförderter Projekte und von bilateralen Industrieprojekten

• Du analysierst Forschungsmärkte in der Lasermaterialbearbeitung und entwickelst Strategien, um diese zu erschließen

• Du präsentierst Ergebnisse bei Kunden sowie auf nationalen und internationalen Konferenzen

• Du betreust wissenschaftliche Abschlussarbeiten

**Deine Qualifikationen**

• Abgeschlossenes wissenschaftliches Hochschulstudium in Physik, Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbaren Studiengängen

• Abgeschlossene Promotion in einem ingenieurwissenschaftlichen oder naturwissenschaftlichen Fach

• Eigeninitiative und die Fähigkeit, sich schnell und flexibel in neue Themen einzuarbeiten

• Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Modellierung, Programmierung, Numerik, Prozesssimulation sowie in der Akquise öffentlich geförderter Projekte und dem Verfassen von Forschungsanträgen

• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
