We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Logistics Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at AUTO1 Group. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our logistics budget, ensuring cost control and operational efficiency across all logistics activities.
As a leader, you will have the opportunity to drive the performance and development of a multinational team of around 10 people, establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business health and creating processes to track and improve performance continuously.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure clear, high-level communication while also supporting your team to drive results. Additionally, you will collaborate with Business Analysis, Business Engineering, Product, and Tech teams to implement automation tools, reducing manual processes and improving team efficiency.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and team management skills, as well as the ability to take ownership of tasks, learn quickly, and continuously drive improvements.
About You- At least 6+ years of relevant work experience in logistics, supply chain, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in accounting, cost control, automotive logistics, or transportation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward shared goals.
- Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, learn quickly, and continuously drive improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on proactive, transparent communication both upward to senior stakeholders and downward to the team.
- Attention to detail, with a willingness to learn AUTO1's internal processes and tools and become a subject matter expert.
- Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting time-sensitive deadlines, and maintaining budget discipline.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex quantitative concepts into understandable insights.
- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
