KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:YOUR ROLE:
As the Software Engineering Lead, you will spearhead our software development initiatives, employing agile methodologies to drive progress.
- Acquaint yourself with our cloud architecture and application ecosystem to enhance our development efforts.
- Oversee the creation and refinement of our applications and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously enhance our solutions' capabilities.
- Engage with technology partners on collaborative projects.
WHO WE SEEK:
We are in search of a Software Engineering Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for guiding software development and making key architectural decisions based on the needs of our customers and partners, while also contributing to feature implementation. You will lead a team of working students and freelancers, with plans to expand the developer team.
Ideally, you possess full-stack development expertise, particularly in backend development and data processing, with a minimum of three years of full-time experience.
Proficiency in business English is essential, and knowledge of the German language is advantageous.
Your work will involve our existing technology stack:
- Backend: NodeJS, Python (including Machine Learning with Jupyter Notebook)
- Frontend: ReactJS, TypeScript
- Source Control: Bitbucket
- Databases: MySQL, MongoDB
- Cloud Services: Microsoft Azure (Serverless/Azure Functions, among other components)
YOUR IMPACT:
Contribute to the development and deployment of significant new product features that empower our customers to better understand air quality in their surroundings.
- Strengthen relationships with our technology partners and actively collaborate to advance our mission.
- Achieve substantial productivity improvements for the entire team through new project and process support tools.
- Facilitate the onboarding of additional developers, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements in air quality monitoring and management.
