Full Stack Software Architect

Locoia GmbH is on the lookout for a seasoned Full Stack Developer who can navigate both backend and frontend challenges. In this pivotal role, you will enhance and maintain our applications, ensuring they deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and user engagement.

About Locoia: We specialize in low-code intelligent automation solutions, providing innovative analytics and automation software tailored for modern business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the current codebase, diagnose issues, and introduce new functionalities across both frontend and backend platforms.
  • Report directly to the Head of Engineering, contributing significantly throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Engage in the design and execution of change requests, while reviewing merge requests from fellow developers.
  • Enhance UI/UX designs to improve user interaction and satisfaction.
  • Offer technical insights to elevate project quality, including suggestions on cloud architecture and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Play a vital role in automated testing, ensuring that updates are delivered with optimal quality and stability.
  • Develop and refine internal documentation, focusing on technical and architectural aspects.
  • Optimize production configurations for improved performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, particularly web applications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in our backend technology stack: Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Strong skills in our frontend technology stack: JavaScript, Vue 3, Element-UI.
  • Proficient in utilizing common AWS services and managing production environments, including monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Familiarity with development methodologies and task management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, GitLab issues).
  • Experience in performance tuning and debugging processes.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and designs clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Capable of reproducing, troubleshooting, and resolving reported issues efficiently.
