Software Developer for Radar Perception

Your Key Responsibilities- Design, model, and develop SW components for radar-based perception algorithms for automotive radar.
- Develop (also AI-based) algorithms to detect and filter vehicle data based on radar information.
- Support the development team in specifying the system and software.
- Develop simulation software to test algorithms in real-time.
- Evaluate and test the developed software parts by unit testing and in real-life.
- Process-conform documentation of the software.
- Discuss and report results internally and towards customers.
- University degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering or computer science.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development for real-time systems.
- Knowledge of statistical signal processing and algorithms to model the dynamic or static environment; knowledge of machine learning (e.g. AI) is welcome.
- Experience in modeling the dynamic behavior of vehicles.
- Knowledge of automotive standards in software engineering, quality, and design principles.
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols like CAN and experience in development tools and scripting languages like Matlab, Python, C/C++.
- Experience or knowledge in the development of functional safety-related software.
