Safety and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to join our team at Amazon Logistik GmbH. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular workplace risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate them.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, HR, and facilities, to promote a culture of safety and wellness.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.
- Proven experience in workplace health and safety, with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. occupational health and safety, environmental science) preferred.
