Department Head for Maintenance and Reliability Engineering

About the Role:

As a Department Head for Maintenance and Reliability Engineering at Amazon Horn-Bad Meinberg GmbH, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical professionals to ensure the reliable operation of our equipment. Your primary focus will be on facility management, planning, maintenance, and optimization to support the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of technical professionals to ensure the reliable operation of our equipment.
  • Facility Management: Plan, maintain, and optimize our facilities to ensure efficient operation.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Interpret and implement policies related to safety, regulatory compliance, and machine safety protocols.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including colleagues, management, and external partners.
  • Project Management: Implement and support site-based and network-based projects to optimize operations and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in a technical field.
  • Experience: Experience in maintenance teams in industrial or production settings, with a focus on technical leadership and facility management.
  • Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in German and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Experience with regulatory compliance and machine safety protocols.
  • Automated Equipment: Experience with automated equipment and data analysis tools.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of project management or lean processes.
  • CMMS: Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
