Your Role

We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer (f/m/d) to contribute to our ongoing development of Inventory and Serial Number Management solutions. This role is essential in modernizing and enhancing SAP's Logistics functionalities within S/4HANA. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and testing software utilizing SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, JavaScript and/or UI5, ABAP, and RAP technologies.
  • Participating in an agile development framework (SCRUM), managing backlog items during sprint planning, and ensuring their completion in accordance with established standards.
  • Collaborating closely with product owners, architects, and fellow engineers.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to both internal and external team members.
  • Addressing complex challenges within your area of expertise and assisting others in problem resolution.

Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience or a strong interest in developing S/4HANA software solutions using ABAP OO, RAP, Fiori/UI5, with a focus on performance, scalability, usability, and quality.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and test-driven development (TDD).
  • A positive, open-minded attitude with a results-oriented approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to take ownership of projects and challenge existing processes.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
