Entry-Level Financial Controller

BBS Automation stands as a prominent global entity in the realm of assembly and testing systems, boasting a presence across 15 locations in 9 countries. Renowned for our pioneering products and dependable partnerships, we are currently in search of a Junior Financial Controller (m/w/d) to contribute to our Headoffice in Garching on a part-time basis (approximately 30 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee controlling activities for our administrative units at the Headoffice.
  • Utilize Cognos software for budgeting, strategic planning, and corporate reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Manage accounting responsibilities for banks, debtors, creditors, fixed assets, general ledger, and travel expenses.
  • Independently execute Intercompany functions such as interest calculations, management fees, and global Intercompany reconciliations.
  • Assist subsidiaries with corporate reporting and monthly closing processes.
  • Process and oversee bank guarantees for subsidiary entities.
Required Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of HGB and a foundational knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proficient in IT, experienced with consolidation software, and adept in MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Datev) and ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Effective collaboration skills with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exhibit a hands-on approach, meticulous work ethic, independence, and a strong quality focus.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of accountability and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
