About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Claims Handler to join our Commercial team at Zurich Insurance Company. As a Property Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling complex claims related to commercial properties, working closely with our clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide excellent service and ensure timely resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess commercial property claims, gathering all necessary information and evidence to support the claim
  • Communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on claim status and progress
  • Work with our in-house experts and external partners to determine the cause of the loss and the extent of the damage
  • Develop and implement effective claims handling strategies to minimize losses and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with our underwriting and risk management teams to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in claims handling
Requirements
  • Proven experience in property claims handling, preferably in a commercial insurance environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, brokers, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations, particularly in the area of commercial property insurance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
