POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Engineering Team Supervisor to oversee our engineering operations.
In this role, you will function as a Lead Engineer, guiding a team of (Lead) Systems Engineers, ensuring effective coordination and support in daily operations while fostering professional growth among team members.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Foster employee well-being and growth to maintain a motivated and successful team. Regularly assess team performance and provide assistance on technical inquiries.
- Facilitate communication and planning within the team, recommending necessary training and workshop initiatives.
- Ensure that team members understand job requirements and apply methodologies, procedures, and tools from the Project Management Office (PMO) across all projects.
- Collaborate with local or European engineering management to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing the resources of the broader team, technical and process standardization, process automation tools, and knowledge sharing to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide support for review planning and preparation, serving as the primary contact for all technical inquiries.
- Take responsibility for engineering activities across all assigned tasks, proactively implementing methodologies, resources, and techniques to minimize execution costs while adhering to schedule and quality standards.
- Assist Project Managers in developing realistic and achievable project timelines, supplying all necessary information to keep them informed of resource needs, progress, and potential risks for the Lead Engineers.
- Fully comprehend the scope of work for all assigned engineering deliverables, ensuring timely delivery within quality, budget, and schedule parameters, while keeping the relevant Project Manager informed of any customer-initiated scope changes.
- Ensure that all engineering activities comply with the Company's quality control processes and standards.
- Support the Project Manager in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all project team members, actively aiding in achieving personal development goals.
- Contribute to assigned bid activities to ensure comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and propose innovative, cost-effective solutions.
- Share knowledge and experiences actively within the team and the broader organization.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in process automation projects and employee management (technical team).
- State-certified technician, completed vocational training, or equivalent expertise.
- Proficiency in both German and English (verbal and written communication).
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and third parties on technical issues.
- Business acumen to identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Valid driver's license for vehicles.
- Willingness to travel as required, including short (a few days) and extended trips (weeks).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intercultural competencies.
- Familiarity with modern PC and network technologies.
