Position Overview
The Technische Universität München (TUM) is seeking applications for the role of Assistant Professor specializing in Microwave Sensors and Sensor Systems. This position is a W2 fixed-term tenure-track professorship, with a potential pathway to a tenured W3 role.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting research in the field of Microwave Sensors and Sensor Systems, particularly focusing on radar technologies and RFID systems.
  • Teaching foundational courses in the Professional Profile of Electrical and Computer Engineering at both Bachelor's and Master's levels.
  • Mentoring early-career researchers and promoting their professional development.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of scientific contributions and the ability to conduct independent research at an international level.
  • A university degree and an exceptional doctoral degree or equivalent scientific credentials.
  • Demonstrated teaching skills and pedagogical effectiveness.
