Position: Network Infrastructure Engineer at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA

Become a vital member of our Operations Center team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in comprehensive onboarding sessions conducted by industry experts.
- Assist in the establishment and seamless functioning of our cloud services platform. Your contributions will help ensure a secure digital environment.
- Utilize your expertise in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) to collaborate with a team dedicated to managing and advancing our cloud platforms.
- Oversee the operations of our cloud services and ensure compliance with the highest operational standards.
- Design, enhance, and maintain all active network components to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Strictly follow network protocols and procedures to uphold quality standards.
- Develop strategies to mitigate potential incidents.
- Refine and implement Standard Operating Procedures and troubleshooting guides to boost operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years of experience in designing and managing network infrastructure, particularly in SDN settings.
- In-depth knowledge of network security solutions and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with encryption technologies for data security, including VPN and TLS.
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience in network automation through scripting, ideally with Python.
- Relevant certifications in cloud and network technologies are advantageous.
