Position Overview

We are currently looking for a Financial Control Specialist (m/w/d) to contribute to large-scale construction initiatives within the manufacturing domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial aspects, including cost elements and reporting.
  • Develop estimates and financial plans, ensuring deliverables are produced and presented effectively.
  • Revise financial plans throughout the design phase.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies while collaborating with management and finance teams.
  • Create and analyze complex financial models, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Offer varying levels of financial guidance and information to operational teams.
  • Assist in financial closing processes, variance analysis, and trend evaluation, aligning forecasts with business goals.
  • Generate monthly post-contract financial reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Advise on controls, risk management, budgeting, pricing strategies, and overall business planning.
  • Conduct independent analysis of financial data to devise solutions for intricate challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting standards and corporate governance policies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction financial oversight and analysis within the manufacturing sector.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA degree in Construction Management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in English, with a basic understanding of German preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Power BI, MS Teams, Ecosys, and SAP.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Project Controls, financial management, and business analysis.
  • Willingness to travel as required, even in a predominantly remote working environment.
