Export Control Specialist

Bruker, a leading analytical instrumentation company, is seeking an experienced Export Control Specialist to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations related to the sale of our products and services to international customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and implement European and international export control regulations, including US regulations.
- Review and approve export-control relevant processes, including processing in SAP GTS and AEB, and place delivery blocks if necessary.
- Determine and classify goods and technologies in accordance with international export control regulations, in coordination with technical departments.
- Monitor legal changes in the tariff/classification area and implement them in processing practice.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities, such as BAFA.
- Collaborate with other specialist departments, such as the compliance team, and monitor group-wide export control guidelines and standards.
- Provide project-related technical support for the implementation and further development of export control processes.
- Commercial training in the industrial sector and/or additional training in customs or foreign trade, or studies in law, economics, or related areas.
- Several years of practical professional experience in customs and export, with in-depth knowledge of customs law and business knowledge.
- Advanced German and English skills.
