About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our development department at Alpha-Engineering KG. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests for various components, systems, and aircraft level ground tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement test plans and procedures for propulsion systems and aircraft level ground tests
  • Collaborate with design teams to refine test requests and ensure alignment with project requirements
  • Design and set up test and measurement systems, including data acquisition and analysis
  • Coordinate with technicians, suppliers, and other support teams to ensure smooth test execution
  • Plan and execute tests, including risk assessments and test procedure development
  • Provide feedback to design teams on test results and suggest improvements
  • Develop and review engineering documentation for test setups and results
Requirements
  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Strong knowledge and experience in propulsion testing, measurement methods, and instrumentation
  • Excellent data analysis and post-processing skills
  • Experience with Siemens NX is highly beneficial
  • Driven individual with strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge assumptions
  • Ability to work with incomplete requirements and anticipate customer needs
  • High level of self-reliance with ability to work in a diverse team
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language is beneficial
