Finance Operations Team Lead

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our revenue accounting processes. Your expertise will play a critical role in driving business growth and maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage revenue accounting processes, including contract review, financial term clarification, and customer receivable reconciliation.
- Lead the monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop and maintain a robust contract management system.
- Develop and maintain a tracker of non-standard financial terms in contracts, ensuring accurate calculation and recording of rebates, revenue shares, and discounts.
- Synchronize and automate revenue reports through engagement with data, sales, and group controlling teams.
- Develop and document business processes and revenue accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
- Lead cash collection processes and initiatives to maintain healthy accounts receivable thresholds.
- Manage, develop, and grow a team of finance operations accountants.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably at hyper-growth companies.
- Experience leading a finance team for 2-3 years.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high regard for precision.
- Experience with Netsuite or another major accounting ERP.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, and experience automating reports (nice to have).
