We are seeking a proactive individual for the role of Liaison Engineer (m/f/d) to contribute to our esteemed client's innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a vital member of the technical liaison team focused on eVTOL aircraft, with the objective of obtaining approval signature authority for modifications and dispositions.
  • Act as the intermediary between Production and Engineering departments.
  • Analyze and devise solutions for non-conformances and concessions identified during the production process.
  • Interpret engineering schematics and facilitate the rectification of discrepancies found in drawings and documents during production through methods such as red-lining.
  • Balance diverse needs and requirements to develop technical solutions that align Operations, Suppliers, and Engineering.
  • Formulate solutions to a range of challenges of varying complexity while adhering to established company protocols, leveraging support from the broader organization as needed.
  • Utilize and comprehend 3D models, assemblies, installations, system requirements, interface/supplier control drawings, performance specifications, system checkout procedures, and statements of work.
  • Maintain accurate records or oversee the documentation process to ensure engineering drawings and documents are up-to-date, and that engineering-related production issues and their resolutions are properly recorded.
  • Provide technical guidance and drawing interpretation across all sectors of the manufacturing facility.
  • Offer advice regarding compliance and standards to relevant personnel.
  • Apply expertise to address issues impacting both immediate and long-term objectives of the company and its projects.
  • Be prepared to work in a shift pattern (early & late shifts) during specific phases of the production process, although regular shift work is not anticipated.

Candidate Profile:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering is required, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in aviation is essential, with a strong preference for backgrounds in liaison teams or similar roles.
  • Familiarity with OEM Engineering Organizations.
  • Proficient in CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX.
  • Basic knowledge of PDM/PLM systems (Teamcenter or equivalent) is necessary.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment while maintaining flexibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues across various departments, even in challenging situations (e.g., schedule, budget).
  • Must prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.
