Job Description

Role Summary

ING Luxembourg is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our Cash Management team. As a key member of our Wholesale Banking team, you will be responsible for growing our Corporate & Financial Institutions business and increasing profitability through the origination of new cash management mandates.

Key Responsibilities

    • Generate new share of wallet deals with existing clients and new clients
    • Deliver on specific revenue targets and client profitability within the ING risk framework and appetite
    • Manage end-to-end the pre-lead, pitching and proposal process effectively and efficiently in collaboration with colleagues
    • Negotiate Cash Management solutions and pricing agreements with clients, balancing client expectations, cost of sales and cost of service, within the Risk appetite of ING
    • Improve and maximize the cross-buy of Cash Management Solutions
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients and work closely with key internal colleagues/stakeholders
    • Operate under our KYC guidelines
    • Attend client events to position the ING Cash Management value proposition and stay informed on key trends

Requirements

    • Higher education (HBO) or University education (Bachelor or Master's degree) preferably in Economics, Accounting or Finance
    • Excellent commercial skills and ability to excel in originating TS sales
    • Relevant work experience (min 5 years) in Cash Management Services or similar
    • Deep understanding of Cash and Trade solutions
    • Experience with KYC related processes
    • Knowledge in credit approval processes, e.g. credit applications, risk management (financial and non-financial) and relevant legal and tax regulations
