Messer SE & Co. KGaA is a leading global company in the gases industry, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller to join our Global Controlling Team in our Corporate Office in Bad Soden, Germany.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Controller to oversee group controlling, with a focus on reporting, financial planning, and data analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing monthly results, developing proposals to improve performance, and optimizing controlling processes and global Group reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee group controlling, with a focus on reporting, financial planning, and data analysis
  • Monitor and analyze monthly results, identifying drivers and areas for improvement
  • Develop proposals to improve performance, including cost reduction and revenue enhancement initiatives
  • Optimize controlling processes and global Group reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Requirements
  • University-level degree in controlling, finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in group controlling and reporting, preferably in an international setting
  • Knowledge of consolidation in IFRS desirable
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP, BI tools, or comparable systems advantageous
  • Business fluency in spoken and written English
