Inspector– Armament Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inspector– Armament 2.2 to join our team at Amentum. As an Inspector– Armament, you will be responsible for inspecting all repairs completed on equipment, determining serviceability of parts, and overseeing the use of common hand-tools and shop equipment to ensure employee safety.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect all repairs completed on equipment to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Determine serviceability of parts and exercise initiative to maintain productive progress.
- Oversee the use of common hand-tools and shop equipment to ensure employee safety.
- Diagnose and determine remedies for failures commonly encountered in the repair of tow artillery or small arms weapons.
- Instruct other employees in the proper repair maintenance procedures and capabilities of small arms and tow artillery maintenance and related TMDE.
- Maintain discipline and enforce performance standards.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
- 5 years of related work experience.
- Prior military experience is a plus.
- Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Must be able to meet and maintain all Logistic Information System (LIS) access requirements (Common Access Card).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
- Experienced in the using the Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-A).
- Experienced in the using the Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Unique Logistics Support Applications (TULSA) and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW).
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- GCSS-A license and certification.
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively up to a 48-hour work week.
- Must be able to endure long hours (overtime as required).
