Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Track Vehicle Inspector and Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and maintenance on various track vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of track vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on track vehicles and equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
- Ensure all maintenance and inspection activities are documented and recorded accurately.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations.
- Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance personnel on inspection and maintenance procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance procedures and technologies.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in track vehicle inspection and maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of quality inspection procedures and maintenance forms.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a government vehicle.
- Ability to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Ability to meet and maintain all Logistics Information System (LIS) access requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Army 91H or equivalent military experience.
- Full or partial Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or European equivalent.
