Job Title: Distribution Key Account Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Key Account Manager to join our team at Talented International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our distribution network in the DACH region, ensuring seamless execution of our sales strategy and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our distribution partners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, ensuring alignment with our sales strategy and goals.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with our supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, manage stock rotations, and ensure timely delivery of products to our customers.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate and analyze weekly distribution reports, including POS, customer backlog, purchase order backlog, and inventory levels, to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and execute quarterly marketing strategies in collaboration with our reseller sales team to leverage our distribution partners for reseller recruitment, partner enablement, and project opportunities.
  • Sales Promotion and Enablement: Execute quarterly sales promotions with our distribution partners, including onsite presence at sales floors, to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the supply chain for our premium consumer product line, ensuring alignment with our consumer sales team and timely delivery of products to our customers.
  • Market Expansion: Develop and execute a strategy to expand into new customer segments and markets for our solutions, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Generate weekly forecasts for order bookings from our direct partners, ensuring accurate demand planning and supply chain optimization.
  • International Collaboration: Regularly collaborate with our international supply and operations team to manage customer demand versus availability, ensuring seamless execution of our sales strategy.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers, including senior staff and management, to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management: Regularly align with our finance team on payments and credit lines to ensure tight cost control and improved customer profitability.
  • Reseller Shopping Experience: Improve the reseller shopping experience within our distribution online stores, increasing visibility, customer engagement, and traffic for our key product lines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of sales experience and management of multinational distribution partners in the DACH region.
  • Native German with very good English language skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • High affinity to information technology and a very good technical understanding of products and solutions.
  • Able to adapt to needs and requirements for multiple customer groups for our consumer and commercial business.
  • Structured work procedures and a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and highly energetic, very good presenter and relationship building skills.
  • Very analytical and used to working with sales numbers in all details.
  • Adaptive to change, open to learn, and keep up with product and solution knowledge in a highly innovative and fast-moving market.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and various online and reporting tools.
  • Understanding and handling all aspects of a P&L and financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of all digital marketing tools to drive customer demand and conversion to maximize partner store performance.
