Key Responsibilities- Contract Negotiation and Management: Partner with regional teams to negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and applicable regulations.
- Business Partnership and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to drive business objectives and provide timely and risk-appropriate partnership with the business.
- Legal Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing sound judgment and problem-solving skills to ensure the company's interests are protected.
- Contract Drafting and Review: Draft and review contracts, tender documentation, and RFQs, ensuring they meet business needs and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Compliance and Regulatory Support: Provide guidance on compliance and regulatory matters, including data privacy, employment, and intellectual property.
- Process Improvement and Optimization: Drive process improvements to scale efficiencies in the legal support of go-to-market solutions.
- Education and Experience: German-qualified lawyer, preferably German Bar, with 3-5 years of practice experience, including recent and relevant contract negotiation experience.
- Language Skills: German and English language skills (Advanced/Business proficiency).
- Skills and Qualities: Demonstrated ability to balance legal risks against commercial and operational needs of the business, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a strong understanding of business and contract law.
