We are seeking a talented individual for our Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Planning department.
Position: Director / Head of Global Brand Strategy & Marketing Planning (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the brand strategy, positioning, and marketing planning processes.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of global frameworks, KPIs, and guidelines, empowering marketing and sales teams to adapt these frameworks to local markets.
- Manage marketing initiatives, including budget planning and approval processes in collaboration with headquarters and regional/local stakeholders.
- Foster a shared vision of business-driven, value-oriented marketing and data-informed decision-making within the global BLANCO marketing community, focusing on: Brand Positioning, Brand Governance, Marketing Strategy, Media Planning, Marketing Excellence, and Marketing Research.
- Represent the Global Brand Marketing Department in meetings and project teams.
- Supervise and mentor one part-time employee in a disciplinary and professional capacity.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with an international brand manufacturer or in a media/advertising agency, specializing in marketing planning, KPI tracking, budget management, and brand strategy.
- Embraces a coaching leadership style.
- Possesses strategic and analytical thinking skills combined with a hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrates a high level of intercultural understanding and international experience.
- A collaborative personality capable of bridging gaps between sales and marketing, headquarters and local teams, as well as B2B and B2C marketing.
- Resilient, persistent, and comfortable with ambiguity.
