About This Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Software Engineering & Digital Product to lead our world-class engineering team in the development and delivery of innovative digital solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and champion the technical vision for our digital products, aligning with the overall business strategy. Guide the development of roadmaps and prioritize initiatives to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs.
  • Program Management Excellence: Oversee the full lifecycle of complex software development programs, from conception to deployment. Effectively manage risks, identify impediments, and implement mitigation strategies. Collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Building & Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of software engineers and digital product specialists. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster individual growth and team success.
  • Technical Expertise & Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in areas such as digital marketing, e-commerce, web content management, mobile solutions, and social engagement. Leverage your technical expertise to drive innovation and improve product quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience delivering large-scale IT solutions within an enterprise digital landscape.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs involving multiple project managers and cross-functional development/testing teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with knowledge of software development practices (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
