Role Overview
The IT department at FLOCERT GmbH is in search of a motivated and service-oriented individual eager to work in a multicultural setting.
Adaptability and diverse experience in IT troubleshooting are vital for this role. The selected candidate will join a small, dynamic international team responsible for the ICT infrastructure supporting all business operations related to Fairtrade certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage helpline requests and resolve first-level incidents and service inquiries
- Perform printer maintenance (e.g., replace printer cartridges)
- Guide users on the effective and efficient use of FLOCERT IT systems
- Assist in troubleshooting laptop issues
- Support users of conference equipment on the ground floor
- Communicate with users in person, over the phone, via Skype, or MS Teams to assist in setting up ICT-related systems or resolving issues
- Aid in preparing workstations for new staff
- Assist in the installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Support Bonn employees during office relocations within the building
- Coordinate hardware replacements and peripheral devices
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled at a university in any field (proof of enrollment required)
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- Initial experience with Microsoft operating systems, both server and desktop
- Additional knowledge of Linux, mobile device management/telephony systems, MS Azure Active Directory, IT user support, and ticketing systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with ITIL (problem and incident management processes) is a plus
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proactive, diligent, and dependable work ethic
- Excellent communication abilities, adaptable, and experienced in interacting with diverse cultures
