Your responsibilities
The role involves providing academic services for the aforementioned project. Research associates are also encouraged to engage in independent research and pursue further academic qualifications, including doctoral studies outside of their work commitments.
Within the framework of this project, the primary focus will be on the synthesis of semiconductor nanoparticles, particularly perovskite-type materials, utilizing colloid chemistry techniques. The synthesized nanoparticles will be applied to suitable substrates, followed by performance evaluations in solar cell applications. Comprehensive optical characterization of the nanoparticles, along with electronic characterization of the resultant solar cells, will be conducted.

Candidates should possess a university degree in a relevant discipline.
Previous experience in synthetic chemistry, particularly with nanoscopic systems, as well as familiarity with solar cell fabrication processes, is advantageous. Additionally, knowledge of characterization techniques for nanoscopic systems (such as electron microscopy and optical spectroscopy) and solar cells (electronic characterization) is desirable.
Proficiency in English is essential, while knowledge of German is a plus.
